Because Total Pet Plan is not insurance, there are no claims forms, deductibles, or waiting for reimbursements. All types of pets are welcome, even older pets and pets who may have been refused pet insurance because of pre-existing health conditions.
Can I combine Total Pet Plan with pet insurance?
Yes. You can combine Total Pet Plan with traditional pet insurance to save more on out-of-pocket expenses.

How do I enroll in Total Pet Plan?
Sign up through your employer. You can start using your plan as soon as your enrollment is processed.
Can I enroll my exotic pet in Total Pet Plan?
Yes! Total Pet Plan’s instant discount on in-house medical services at participating veterinarians covers all types of pets, including cats, dogs, birds, and exotic animals.
Can I enroll more than one pet in Total Pet Plan?

With ThePetTag, your pet receives a personalized ID tag linked to contact information you add in your online pet profile. If your pet is found, the finder can scan the QR on the tag or call our hotline to help reunite you quickly.

What if my veterinarian is not in the Pet Assure network?
You can invite your vet to join the network, or continue visiting them without the plan’s discount.
How do I file a claim for Pet Assure?
You don’t need to file a claim with Pet Assure! Pet Assure gives you instant 25% savings on in-house medical services at participating network veterinarians. Just show your Pet Assure card at check-in, and the vet clinic will apply the discount to eligible portions of your bill—no claims to file and no waiting for reimbursement.
Can I cancel Total Pet Plan?
Yes. Cancel anytime through your online account, or by contacting customer service or your HR team.
What happens to my plans if I leave my employer or am no longer eligible for benefits?
When you leave the company, you can take your plan with you! You’ll have 28 days after leaving to transfer the plan to yourself.
